Fridge Organization

Where you store different items in the fridge can make a big difference in their overall shelf life. Fridge organization is a must for reducing food waste.

Ever found yourself playing fridge tetris with your groceries and leftovers only to find things rotten and moldy a week later? Turns out that where you store different food items in the fridge really matters!

For example, foods and drinks that are sensitive to temperature changes should NEVER be kept in the door. The shelf space seems perfect for the milk jug right inside the door, right? Unfortunately, that spot is also one of the places where temperature fluctuates the most... imagine that jug of milk getting hit by hot air every time someone opens the door. Instead, keep milk on a lower shelf in the main body of the fridge towards the back if possible.
